Becoming a Jersey Freeze franchisee follows a clear path, from your first conversation with our team to the day you open your doors. Here’s what to expect at each stage.
Step 1: Submit Your Inquiry
Fill out the franchise interest form on this site. This is the first step for every prospective franchisee and takes just a few minutes.
Step 2: Introductory Call
A member of the Jersey Freeze franchise team will reach out to you directly. On this call, they’ll give you an overview of the opportunity, walk you through the steps to becoming a franchisee, answer any initial questions you have, and explain how we evaluate markets and award franchises.
Step 3: Review the Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD)
If it’s a mutual fit, we’ll provide our FDD, the legal document that lays out the full details of the franchise offering, including fees, obligations, and territory terms. We recommend reviewing it with an attorney or franchise advisor before moving forward.
Step 4: Territory & Site Selection
Once you move forward, our team provides real estate and site-selection assistance to help you evaluate and secure a location in your target market.
Step 5: Training
Before you open, you’ll complete hands-on training on Jersey Freeze’s proprietary soft-serve and food recipes, along with day-to-day operations, led by an ownership team with 30+ years of experience in the ice cream industry and 25+ years in hospitality and franchising.
Step 6: Grand Opening
With site build-out complete and your team trained, you’re ready to open. Jersey Freeze provides ongoing marketing support for social media and local community partnerships to help drive a strong launch and build the same kind of local following that’s kept customers coming back to Jersey Freeze for 74 years.
